Eastern Communications, one of the leading telecommunications companies in the country, took home an Award of Excellence for their ‘Eastern @140’ Campaign at the recently concluded 17th Philippine Quill Awards at the Marriott Grand Ballroom.
Their entry, Eastern @140: A Celebration of 140 Years of Strong Connection is under Communication Management Division; Marketing, Advertising and Brand Communication Category.
Eastern Communications celebrated the milestone of reaching 140 years in the industry through a holistic campaign, highlighting the brand as a partner of choice for businesses across the Philippines and an enabler of business growth for its clients. The Campaign also aimed to highlight being both “High Tech and High Touch” – providing innovative connectivity solutions with personalized service and innovative customer relations programs.
“The 140th Year Campaign was created to recognize the growth of Eastern Communications for the past years and to thank all the people who were the key and inspiration for these achievements. Throughout the year, we made sure that all our customers, partner industries, and employees were part of our meaningful celebration,” shared Eastern Communications Marketing Division OIC Jedrek Estanislao.
One of the highlights of their 140th anniversary celebration is the Link VIP Club, a client recognition program created to thank loyal customers by entitling them to perks and rewards. As part of supporting emerging businesses, the said program includes Exceed Business Solutions Expo that touched digital security preparedness, marketing and branding advice, and IT predictions. On the other hand, Link 101 Workshop was a free training series to its members on cybersecurity and data privacy to equip them on how to keep their data safe from cyber-attacks.
Eastern Communications celebrated the milestone by expanding their product portfolio and service areas. They launched latest products designed to answer the needs of the Filipino modern workplace including global data, cybersecurity solutions, and cloud services; and introduced their services in Mactan, Cebu through a festive “Toastugan sa Mactan.” The company also fortified its pool of industry allies by engaging several partnerships that promote innovations and empower emerging businesses.
Lastly, Eastern employees were engaged in activities such as sports fest and CSR projects, focusing on forging stronger connections within the company and communities. To cap off the company’s 140th anniversary, an extravagant Christmas gathering entitled ‘Eastern’s Magical Night’ was mounted to celebrate the company’s successful year with its hardworking employees.
